I would like to express my appreciation to Dr. Douglas Orlich of your Optical Shop. For ten years I have been going from place to place getting exams and new glasses. Then I went to the local hospital and was examined by an ophthalmologist, same story. My glasses were OK for reading, driving, and on flat surfaces, but as soon as I got an uneven or sloping surfaces, everything was distorted and I was so worried about falling. Ten years I worried and stewed in this dilemma. Then I met Dr. Orlich. He knew of this type of problem and made an adjustment that worked. I am eternally grateful.

Dear Dr. Orlich,
I don't know if you remember who I am, but I wanted to thank you for helping me. I was the one who had called in on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago because my eyes had been bothering me for months. I had been to more than one doctor on several occasions and had been misdiagnosed twice. Completely frustrated, I called you. You talked to me and told me to come in that very same day. When you saw me you reassured me, gave me a new prescription, a new pair of contact lenses with solution, and didn't ever charge me for the exam. You have no idea how much I appreciated that, seeing that I'd already paid hundreds in doctor's bills. Just like you said, three days after being on the drops, my eyes were good-as-new for the first time in three months. Thank you so much for your help. It didn't go unappreciated!!!

I visited your optical department to buy a pair of "readers" and the person who was helping me noticed a red spot in my eye. Without an appointment the head doctor looked at my eye - no charge! Wonderful man and thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr. Doug Orlich for over ten years. Until I met him, I had lost hope of ever finding an Optometrist who would treat me as a patient, not a number. I was tired of receiving a perfunctory exam with not attempt to forge a doctor-patient relationship. After my first appointment with Dr. Orlich I knew I had found someone special. He gave me a comprehensive exam, thoroughly explaining each procedure and welcoming any question I had. He told me to be sure and call him if I had any problems with my new prescription. Upon leaving his office that day all those years ago, I remember thinking how lucky I was to have found not only an excellent doctor, but a very caring and compassionate man whose top priority was the health and welfare of his patients.
